JUST IN: HON. ISIENYI GIFTS 1MILLION (1,000,000.00) NAIRA TO THE 5 BEST JAMB CANDIDATES IN AYAMELUM
The House of Assembly Member for Ayamelum Constituency, Hon. Bernard Mmaduabuchi Udemezue has fulfilled the promise of 1million Naira Prize/Scholarship Award to the highest five (5) candidates in 2023 JAMB in Ayamelum.
This event took place today, the 9th of September, 2023 at the State House of Assembly Complex, Awka. The following candidates were beneficiaries of the Scholarship:
Igwebuike Ikechukwu Samson who scored 308 to become the highest in the whole of the Local Government.
Udemezue Ebubechukwu Treasure. She got 291 to emerge the 2nd person on the list.
Onwukwe Thankgod Olisabuikem got 277,
And Okoye Dominic Chukwukodi scored 275 while Okafor Benjamin Chigozie got 268 to become the fifth person on the list.
It is pertinent to state here that all these scores presented by the above candidates went through series of verifications which was done by Hon. Joelmary Chukwuma Okafor, Evang. Emmanuel Mgbechi and many others from the eight communities in Ayamelum who formed the committee that foresaw the screening.
Moving forward, Hon. Isienyi won’t joke with any of his campaign promises as stated by him today. He was also of the view that he has come to serve the people of Ayamelum with every gift God has given him. He promised that the program will be done by him yearly for the promotion and celebration of Academic Excellence in Ayamelum. And he finally called on parents to assist their children to do more in education.
Witnesses to the event testified that such thing has not taken place in the history of Ayamelum before and encouraged Hon. Bernard Mmaduabuchi Udemezue for starting on a good note.
