
JUBILATION IN AMAEKE ABAM AS HON. UCHENNA OKORO FLAGS-OFF THE CONSTRUCTION OF SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLE

In a bid to foster community and grass-root development, the honourable member representing the good people of Arochukwu constituency and the majority leader of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Uchenna Okoro Kalu has flagged-off the construction of a solar powered borehole at Amaeke Abam, Arochukwu L.G.A. of Abia State.

Hon. Okoro who spoke through his Personal Assistant Mr. Ikechukwu Okorie said he’s enthusiastic and ever-ready to bringing grass-root development to the good people of Arochukwu Constituency. He reiterated his commitment in delivering his campaign promises to every wards and communities in his constituency. He added that the solar borehole will help alleviate the people of Amaeke Abam the difficulties they face in getting clean and constant water supply.

Responding, the Chairman of Amaeke Abam development union, Mr. Kalu Isong praised Hon. Okoro for remembering his people, adding that the project will give Amaeke Abam another face of life. He thanked the majority leader for his numerous contribution and interventions in Arochukwu Constituency. He prayed the Almighty to strengthen him and give him more wisdom to carry the affairs of his constituency.
Consequently, the Eze Ogo of Amaeke Abam expressed his profound gratitude to Hon. Okoro and asked God to protect him in all his ways as he pledges his community support to his re-election come 2027.
Concluding, Engr. Collins Agunnaya, the contractor handling the project said the project will kick off next week, adding that the majority leader has directed him to ensure the project is concluded as soon as possible. In his words: “We are going to start the project next week as instructed Hon. Uchenna Okoro, he has made every resources available to us. Just that this week is already gone, if not, we could have started it already, he said.”

The community chairman, in his final note, bid the entourage farewell and asked God to grant them journey mercies to their respective homes.
