Hon. Ikeogu Ukpabi Okpi Provides School Fees and Educational Support in Ovukwu Ward

The people of Ovukwu Ward, Abam, Abia State, have reason to celebrate as Hon. Ikeogu Ukpabi Okpi, Councilor representing Ovukwu Ward, demonstrated his commitment to education paying the school fees of the top 10 performing students of St. James PCN Academy and made a heavy financial donation to assist the School in infrastructural development.
The gesture, which was announced during the school’s 2025 graduation ceremony, where he was invited as a guest, is a testament to Hon. Ikeogu’s dedication to empowering the youth and promoting education in his constituency.
According to Hon. Ikeogu, “I am impressed the excellent performance of the students, and I believe it is essential to motivate and support them to achieve their full potential. Education is a top priority for me, and I will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the people of Ovukwu Ward have access to quality education.”
Hon. Ikeogu’s initiative aligns with the education-friendly policies of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, the majority leader of the 8th Assembly, Hon. Uchenna Okoro, and the Abia State Government’s commitment to prioritizing education.
The Headmaster of St. James PCN Academy, Elder Chief K. E. Ukwa, expressed his gratitude to Hon. Ikeogu, stating, “We are thankful for your generosity and commitment to education. Your support will go a long way in alleviating the burden of school fees on our parents and guardians.” and prayed that the good Lord will continue to empower him the more to do exploit.
This is not the first time Hon. Ikeogu has demonstrated his commitment to education. He has previously paid the salaries of all the staff at Kings and Queens Academy, Ndi Okereke Abam, and has consistently shown his dedication to supporting education in Ovukwu Ward.
Without mincing word it’s now crystal clear that Hon. Ikeogu has shown beyond doubt that he has the capacity to lead and will surely do better if given more opportunities.
