Gregory University Uturu set for 2023/2024 Academic Session
The Management of Gregory University Uturu has said that they’re ready to commence 2023/2024 academic session.
This was contained in a statement released by the University Registrar, Dr. Chukwuemeka Mpamah.
According to him, “We are fully prepared to welcome our scholars back to the campus for summer semester of 2023/2024 academic session. Scholars are expected to return to the campus on the Saturday 28 October 2023,” he added.
Dr Mpama in his statement, highlighted some of the events contained in the session’s academic calendar as follows:
1. Orientation Programme for New Scholars
2. Public Lecture on the topic “Harnessing Opportunities in Block Chain Technology and Digital Economy” by Archbishop Prof Sam Zuga
3. Induction Programme for the institution’s pioneer medical doctors.
4. 8th Inaugural Lecture of the University which captures the topic “Communicating Life and Death in our Atomistic Conflict Prone Society; Media Role in Resolving the Albatross”, by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Uwaoma Uche.

5. The 12th Matriculation ceremony
6. The 8th Convocation ceremony, etc.
He further stated that the calendar is designed to guarantee the attainment of the institution’s goal of “advancing the cause of developing the total man while delivering technologically powered knowledge, skills and competencies to our scholars.”
However, we enjoined the University Community to adhered strictly to the content of this calendar, and participate accordingly, he added.
