The former Deputy Speaker of Nigeria House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, visited His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti, Governor of Abia State on Sunday after resigning from PDP.
His visit was announced by Mr. Kazie Uko, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Abia State on Monday morning saying that the visit of the former Governor of Imo State, Hon. Ihedioha to Dr Otti’s residence in Nvosi Isialangwa was private.
According to him, “Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, on Sunday, received former Governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, who paid him a visit at his residence in Nvosi Isialangwa.
“Ihedioha, former Deputy Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, was on a private visit to the Abia Governor. After the welcome reception, Governor Otti and his visitor retired into a closed-door meeting.”
It can be recalled that last week, Hon. Ihedioha with some other PDP chieftains tendered resignation of their membership of the party citing the party’s route which was against their personal belief.
