FEDPIS Mourns the Demise of a Rare Gem.
When the news of the demise of former President Muhammadu Buhari first filtered into the Federal Polytechnic Ngodo-Isuochi, Abia State, it sounded like a horror-thriller film. Little did the staff and students of the Polytechnic know it was a dazing reality.
The reality that the former Head of State and later President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is no more. As a Polytechnic, we cannot forget the indelible achievements of the former President especially in the field of education and technical Education in particular. It is on record that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration birthed this prestigious citadel of learning, Federal Polytechnic Ngodo-Isuochi (FEDPIS).
The establishment of FEDPIS and other tertiary institutions in the country is a clear testament to his love for education and intentional resolve for sustainable development.
Baba, as he was fondly called his admirers, would continue to be remembered staff and students of FEDPIS as we commiserate with the good people of Daura, Katsina State, and the entire Nigeria on the demise of a rare gem, an iconic leader of our time and a disciplined politician. We pray fervently for the repose of his soul.
