FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION OFEME: COMING TO WORK IS NO LONGER BUSINESS AS USUAL – Dr. Ezeme

Deans and Heads of the various departments at Federal College of Education Ofeme, have been charged with the responsibility of ensuring that students do not make mistakes while registering for their courses, to avoid them spending more years than necessary.
The Provost, Dr Titus Sunday Ezeme, gave this charge while addressing members of the Expanded Management members in his office. “This is the first time we are having a meeting like this. It took this long because of the fact that we want everyone to properly settle down to his or her duties. I am pleading with you all to ensure that our students don’t over stay as a result of mistake they may unknowingly commit during registration of courses”, he said.

The Provost equally urged the Deans and Heads of departments to ensure strict compliance to the school rules and regulations, stressing that the era of laxity is over. “Federal College of Education Ofeme, has come to stay because the period of doubt is over, therefore, I want you all to key into the vision of the School management, which remains making the institution the best worldwide in teacher’s education.
Coming late to work will no longer be tolerated, ghost workers will not work here, absentism and insubordination will not be allowed”, he maintained.

As part of the measure set in place the school management, the Provost directed the heads of various departments to constitute Quality Assurance Committee whose responsibilities will be to ensure adherence to set down rules the lecturers in other to meet standard already put in place.
