Breaking:Peter Obi to address a World Press Conference today on Supreme Court Verdict
The Labour party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi will address a World Press Conference today.
This was made known through the party’s X-page. Mr Obi is expected to address the world from his campaign headquarters in Abuja today by 2pm on the Supreme Court ruling which upholds the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the duly elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Recalled that the Supreme Court had earlier validated the September 6, 2023 judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Court on all counts, affirming Tinubu as the rightful winner of the election and dismissed the petition of the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubaka, and that of the Labour Party candidate, Mr Peter Gregory Obi for lacking merit.
However, Alhaji Abubaka has already addressed a press conference based on this ruling and Mr Obi is expected to do same today by 2pm.
