AROCHUKWU LG POLL: PROGRESSIVE YOUTHS DRUMS SUPPORT FOR HON. EMMANUEL AWAH DESCRIBES HIM AS A SELLABLE CANDIDATE
Sequel to the forthcoming Local Government Election in Abia State, a Group known as Progressive Youths For Good Governance (PYGG) has adopted Hon. Chief Emmanuel Awa (Oke-Osisi) as their sole Chairmanship candidate for Arochukwu Local Government Area, Abia State.
The Group took the decision during her Meeting on Sunday September 22nd, 2024 at Abia Hotels Umuahia following a motion moved by the Leader of Arochukwu Legislative Council, Hon. Chukwuma Ogbatua (Ovukwu Ward) and seconded by Hon. John Peter Kalu (Ohaeke Ward).
Addressing the Media after their meeting, the President of the Progressive Youths For Good Governance, Comr. Kalu Ndu Ikechukwu and the Secretary, Comr. Ikechukwu Okorie described Hon. Emmanuel Awah as a Selfless, Visionary, Progressive Minded, Focused and Vibrant Leader who has distinguished himself in grassroot development and politics.
They expressed confidence that Hon. Emmanuel Awah would perform creditably if elected owing to his wealth of experience as a one time Deputy TC Chairman of Arochukwu LGA.
The Group also noted that Hon. Emmanuel Awah if elected will no doubt compliment the good works of the Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti at the grassroot level as a grassroot politician he is.
The Group which described the ‘Real Estate Developer’ as a sellable candidate called on the delegates and Leadership of the Labour Party in Arochukwu and Abia State to elect/field Hon. Emmanuel Awah as its candidate in the November 2nd Local Government Election in Abia State to be sure of the total victory of the Party in Arochukwu.
