Abia’s Resurgence: A New Era of Prosperity

The Majority Leader of the 8th Assembly, Abia State, Hon. Okoro Uchenna Kalu, Felicitates with His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti on Abia @ 34.
As Abia State celebrates its 34th anniversary, the Majority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Okoro Uchenna Kalu, has praised the transformative leadership of Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti. Under Governor Otti’s visionary guidance, Abia has reclaimed its position as a leading state in Nigeria, witnessing significant growth and development across all sectors.
Hon. Uchenna commended the founding fathers of Abia State for their foresight and the electorates for their overwhelming support in the 2023 General Election. He urged the people to repeat this feat in the 2027 General Election, ensuring the continuation of Governor Otti’s remarkable work.
The Majority Leader specifically praised Governor Otti for his outstanding efforts in:
– Making Abia a model state, showcasing its potential to the world
– Empowering the youth, the leaders of tomorrow, incorporating them into his administration
– Opening the eyes of Abians to the vast treasures and resources within the state
– Harnessing Abia’s God-given resources to develop its citizens
Hon. Uchenna also commended Governor Otti for prioritizing the educational and health sectors, ensuring that Abia citizens are enlightened and enjoy healthy living. Furthermore, he praised the Governor for his comprehensive development initiatives, touching every nook and cranny of Abia State.
The people of Arochukwu are particularly grateful for the Governor’s intervention in addressing the perennial problem of bad roads. The construction of the Ozu Abam, Ndi Okorie, Ndi Oji-Arochukwu Road and the Omenuko bridge has brought immense relief and joy to the community.
In a glowing tribute, Hon. Uchenna onoted that since the creation of Abia State in 1991, the state has never witnessed a period of unprecedented growth and development as it is experiencing today under Governor Otti’s leadership. “Abia has finally found its footing and is marching towards a brighter future,” he exclaimed.
As Abia marks this milestone, Hon. Kalu reaffirmed his commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Arochukwu, supporting the Governor’s outstanding achievements.
